Nicolas Industrie’s modulaire MDEL family is the solution for all activities related to heavy road transport:  public works, industrial loads, wind turbine elements, etc.

In its trailer or semi-trailer version with or without load-dividing dolly, with platform or beams, Modular MDEL emphasizes versatility.

The pendular, or oscillating, axles offer a load capacity of up to 20,000 kg per line of two axles.  Moreover, with a turning angle of 60°, the maneuverability is exceptional on the winding roads of cities or mountains, or in tight turns and ever-growing number of traffic circles.

With a course of travel of 680 mm, the hydraulic suspension favors passage on roads with high slope and super-elevation.  The semi-trailer accepts the road defects without hindering the convoy’s stability, including when approaching the work site.

This suspension is linked to the chassis by pivots bolted to a box.  This assembly ensures high mechanical strength.
A standard or custom platform allows you to transport your public works machinery.  It can be low-slung, extra-low-slung, narrow, wide, with gunwale, telescoping, with wideners.

All wind turbine elements – towers, nacelles and blades – are transported using special adapters, platforms or beams.

Accessories such as cross-beams allow you to transport industrial loads such as tanks, or any other load of great length.

MDEL technology is sometimes applied to special vehicles for special needs, such as "monoblock" semi-trailers for transporting aerospace containers, or semi-trailers with a 61-meter platform.
